| We've been busy just like everyone else, so the blogging has once again gotten behind. My brother's flew back to Iowa from Arizona the first week of May. We were so excited to have them back during the nice Iowa weather rather than the cold, snowy Christmas weather. We had a few gatherings at our house to celebrate! |

| We had a small birthday party for Josh while they were back. Oh did the kiddos love making him, cards, decorating the house, singing and helping him blow out his candles. |

| Kate had her Field Day at school the last week of school. Last year it was rained out making this year even more exciting. |
 |
| Kate made a lot of great friends in her class this year. She and her friend Zion have so much fun together. They crack me up whenever they are together! |

| And at home the kids loved building a "campfire." Now those who know me at all know that Jane IS NOT a fan of camping. Therefore we do not spend our whole summer at a campground to say the least. I am so glad my kiddos can make believe the camping experience in our own backyard. It saves me a TON of work. |

| I was one of the chaperones for the 2nd grade field trip this year. We went to the Brenton Arbortreum. We learned more than I could ever want to know about trees while we were there ;) There was also a great natural playground for the kids to play on after lunch. |

| We also did some fishing for frogs and tadpoles. |

| Kate wrapped up her school year session of gymnastics at Chows. She continues to really enjoy it and has mastered her cartwheel, rope climbing, back bend and kickover. |

| Little Will finished his year of half day kindergarten with a fabulous end of year program. We surprised him when Nana showed up for the big event too! He was the first to speak and welcomed everyone to the program and thanked them for coming. |

| The class sang many songs that included lots of props and actions, making it totally AWESOME in Will's eyes. |

| He loved every minute of the performance. Not a single shy bone in his body. |
 |
| The final song by the class was a true tear jerker for me! They held hands and swayed back and forth singing about the end to a great year. His teacher knows how to pull at a mom's heart strings for sure. |

| After the program Will had to show Nana his classroom and desk. At one point when he was walking around saying goodbye to his classroom he turned around and had tears in his eyes! It took all of my strength to not cry with him! He loved his class so much this year. I wish I could push the hold button and keep him there forever! |

| We ended Will's big day with cookies and lemonade with all the other kids and parents. |

| And last but not least....... Will has ditched the training wheels and is officially a big bike rider now! It took all of 10 minutes for him to get it down! It's amazing how boys and girls are so different. With Kate it took quite a while for her to establish the balance and comfort level. With Will, 1 trip around the block and he had it mastered. |
