Oh Will!

We all have our days...... Well Will had a tough day!  It started by Will helping out in the garden and getting into a battle with one of the vines on the fence.   I think the vine won!

Then...... his day continued to get worse.  Sometimes we have to remind Will of our expectation of being kind and respectful to others.  Some days are easier for him to do this and others are not.  Well,  Will had a rough time and ended up being excused to his room for the evening.  He had to eat dinner alone in his room as no one wanted to be around someone who is not nice.  When I came upstairs to retrieve his plate...... this little note was waiting for me :)

"I'm Sorry Mom.  Will you forgive me?"

Fairy Gardens & Great Grandma's Bday

For Xmas, Kate and Will received some of the beginning pieces to create a Fairy Garden.  So once summer arrived we headed to the Downtown Farmer's Market to  pick up some fun additions. 

You could spend a fortune on cute little fairy garden figures! 

The neighbors came over the check out the project and help when needed. 

Nana and Papa stayed at Hotel Van Zee that weekend as they had a wedding in town.  It's always fun when they come over for a sleepover. 

Brett had super cute design for the garden..... rock paths, streams, bridges, ground flowers..... and fairies. 

And finally we headed over to Pella to celebrate Great Grandma's Birthday!  We love dinner at the Pizza Ranch followed by playing at the park.   Happy Birthday Great Grandma!!!
