Back up the clock to Sept 2010 to see my baby girl on her first day of preschool at Greenwood Elementary. Here she is pretty excited, but pretty nervous as well!
And Look at her NOW!! This little girl has grown SO much over the past 9 months! The timid "perimeter girl" that we have always known is now a wonderful outgoing, delightful kindergartener. Her graduation ceremony was so exciting for her. Of course it took all I had to keep my tears back when she received her certificate of completion. I still don't know how I am going to contain myself when she steps on the school bus for the first time this fall!

Ms. Mindy was Kate's idol for the year. Immediately after the school year began, all play time at home centered around being a teacher just like Ms. Mindy.

And Ms. Pam was the extra set of loving arms in the classroom that little Kate relied on when she had a bit of a rough/emotional day. Yes, the hormones are already flowing. I never thought preschoolers would be comparing backpacks already! And I have to admit, Kate's got me around her finger! After telling me over and over again how she hated having the smallest backpack in her WHOLE CLASS, I broke down & bought her a new one! I need to get a little tougher or I could see this problem requiring some serious cash in the future.
