Lake Trip #2

A few weeks after our extended family lake trip, we decided to go back down with Kate and Will to spend a weekend with some of our college friends that live in Osage Beach.   The kids took their car sick medicine right away and were a dream the whole car ride down.   It's amazing how much easier it is with them just 1 yr. older.

Brett is the swim coach in the family.  So Kate took full advantage of him to help her practice her skills.

Our goal for Will was to drop the life jacket on this trip.  After a few minutes wearing the vest, he asked to take it off and off he went.

It took him a long time to get to the edge to take the vest off because he wouldn't stop sneezing!  The chlorine was a bit strong!

Kate and I sat on the edge and soaked up some rays.

Our 2nd day was a washout!  So we head to Miner Mike's, a local kids arcade for some game playing and ticket winning.

There were a few rides for the kids to hop on too!

It cleared up later in the day, so back to the pool we went.

Go Kate Go!

Each night we got together with our friends Matt and Nichole and their 3 boys.  Kate was a real trooper with all those boys running around.

And we adults had a great time catching up!!  I wish we could find more time to get together. We always have so much fun! Until next time!
