Will loves to play pretend like any other kid. Unfortunately, being the younger brother of girly girl Kate, we find him bearing tu tu's, necklaces, high heals, and clip on earrings a lot around our house. We figured now that he is 2, enough is enough, bring on the boy toys & fireman gear! This looks much better! Although, I will be saving the tu tu pics for his highschool graduation party!
Kate and Teagan got their first American Girl doll from Grandma & Grandpa this year. We decided to go with the look a like dolls. A big hit. After much deliberation and a little Mommy vs. Kate battle over the fact that she can't name her doll "Cheryl" because she already named her Beta fish "Cheryl"..... and even though it is the prettiest name out there..... YOU MUST COME UP WITH A DIFFERENT NAME!!! She finally settled on the name Anja.
Lasagna was the meal of choice. This was the first year I hosted xmas at our house. Little baby Lauren was born a bit earlier than we expected, but we had already planned on gathering here this year, so we still went with it. Everything went Great!!
All the grandkids posing on the sofa. NOT FOR LONG!
This was the first day in little Will's life that I let him try to power through without a nap. He was such a trooper. The sugar high and new toys gave him the fuel to make it through dinner & gifts without a meltdown. But once things settled down, I came into the living room to find this cute bundle of love snoring away!
Another great holiday full of memories!
