Easter Fun!

Easter fell on a beautiful sunny day.  Grandma Schaefer held her traditional egg dying activity for all the grandkids.  Each year the decorating options get bigger and bigger.

The Dads' headed outside to hide all the Easter Eggs for the big hunt.  Brett always makes it pretty tough for our kids to find their eggs.

Will loves hunting for his eggs all over the yard.
Like I said, Brett makes it pretty tricky.

The spent the night at Nana and Papa's and woke up to find that the Easter Bunny arrived again!

a
Great Grandma and Grandpa Von Ahsen came over to watch the big Easter Scavenger Hunt.

Papa always spends countless hours planning the big event.

Some of the clues were hiding on top of the ceiling fan!

Great Grandma loved watching Kate put the clues together.

Measure exactly as the clue says......

And start digging!

Another Clue!

This time they had to look all the way across the pond!

"Where is it Papa??"

After an hour of scavenger fun they brought all their discovered goodies in the house to go through.

And finally before we headed back to DSM, we headed down to the softball fields to fly the kids'new kites.
